Good things come in small packages. Beacon Hill Lodge has been in business since 1994. Owner, Ron Moyer has resided in Ketchikan for 14 years starting Rogue Charters in 1990. Prior to that he guided on the Columbia River and many other areas of Washington, Idaho and Oregon.

Ron moved to Alaska and began guiding for a resort in the first couple of years prior to opening Beacon Hill Lodge. Bringing with him an extensive clientele who have chosen to follow him anywhere he chooses to guide. They have such faith in his abilities as a top producing guide, they have been faithfully returning to fish with him yearly in Alaska for the past 14 years.
